Clandestina evening at Sa Creu Nova Petit Palais Art & Spa

On September 7th from 18:00 onwards at Sa Creu Nova, come and taste the new Clandestina Tequila with our barman, José Cortés’ new creations.

Clandestina – SHE IS THE ONE, a 100% premium, pure blue agave Tequila, produced in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico, but dreamt up in Barcelona.

For this Clandestina evening, José has put together a Classic Margarita cocktail in honour of the LADIES – fruity and herbal hints combined with the intensity of the agave.

In addition, especially for the occasion, our barman, José Cortés, has prepared a Red Lady, his signature cocktail, product of his creativity, with Clandestina tequila, blueberry and lime juice, watermelon syrup and egg white.

And the guest barman for the evening, Biel Ramón, has prepared another cocktail called Mexiterránea, with Clandestina tequila, camomile liquor, spicy mango syrup and lime juice, so guests can enjoy an evening complete with lots of different flavours and nuances, fusing Mexico and Spain.

To round off the evening, Tess de Mar chef, Juan Ocampo, has prepared a special surprise: nachos with guacamole to make the Clandestina experience complete.

About the CLANDESTINA TEQUILA project.

Clandestina is a 100% blue agave, produced in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico, although dreamt up and designed in Barcelona. It contains one of the highest concentrations of agave/litre on the market in its area, practically 9 kilos of agave per litre.

It’s produced by means of a traditional method, which implies slow fermentation (over 65 hours) and a double, discontinuous distillation.

Clandestina has fruity and herbal hints which, combined with the intensity of the agave in its high concentration, works very well both on its own as well as in cocktails.

This tequila is produced in small batches and all the bottles are numbered by hand. Mexican elements have been fused with mediterranean elements, as it is born from a fusion of cultures, breaking the mold, with a strong, feminine name, which goes beyond the traditional image of tequila.
